About This Activity/Attraction
Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden
A joint effort between the Chinese and Canadian Governments, the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden was first unveiled during the 1986 World Expo, and consists of a public park as well as the classical gardens themselves. Located in the heart of Vancouver’s Chinatown, the structures of the gardens are based on the Chinese principals of Feng Shui and Taoism, striving to achieve harmony and balance of opposites, and offer a tranquil garden oasis in stark contrast to the bustling streets around.
