The Squamish Adventure Centre, located just off the Sea-to-Sky Highway, is the hub of information for visitors to Squamish. The building is of impressive architectural design, fabricated with locally sourced Douglas Fir timber and sculpted to represent eagles in flight. In the background, the towering granite dome of the Stawamus Chief, famous for rock climbing and flight sports.
Several businesses call the Squamish Adventure Centre home, including the Visitor Information Centre, The Chamber of Commerce, and gift stores and tour companies.
