About This Tour

Whistler + Shannon Falls Tour

Regardless of the season, our Whistler + Shannon Falls Tour is a trip you won’t want to miss. We begin by journeying up the famous Sea to Sky Highway, with ocean and mountain views that will have your head spinning! We will tour past the roaring Shannon Falls and visit the Squamish Adventure Centre, and continue climbing through forest and mountain until the majestic sights of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains emerge. In winter the village is electric with the activity of international skiers and snowboarders, and in the summer witness daredevils on bicycles hurtling down the mountain. Whether blanketed in snow or wildflowers, Whistler Village is an adventure that is yours to create.

EXPLORATION STOPS

Next stop: Adventure! Step off the bus, stretch your legs, and explore at your own pace. We've created our itinerary to give you the perfect amount of time at each unforgettable stop! Not sure where to start? Our guides are always happy to show you their favourite hidden gems!

Shannon Falls Park

Between the hustle and bustle of Whistler and Vancouver you will have a chance to unwind in the forests of the spectacular Shannon Falls Park. Stroll the scenic boardwalk through the towering rainforest and old growth treestumps to the misty base of Shannon Falls itself, a 335-metre (1,105-foot) cascade roaring along Shannon Creek to merge with the waters of Howe Sound. There are plenty of gentle trails and benches for hiking and picnics, all of which are sure to include the "wow" factor of natural life on the westcoast.

Squamish Adventure Centre

At the Squamish Adventure Centre you will have a chance to stretch your legs and crane your neck as you look up toward the massive granite wall of the Stawamus Chief. The "Chief" - as it is known locally - is one of the many reasons the town of Squamish is known as the adventure capital of Canada, providing endless opportunities for rock climbing, BASE jumping, and other ariel sports. And of course it makes the idea backdrop for selfies and portraits. The Squamish Adventure Centre itself is a sight to behold, with its curved roof structure and locally sourced Douglas Fir timber, the building is designed to mimic the iconic Bald Eagle while in flight during migration, an annual event for which the Squamish River is world-renowned. Inside the centre you will find the Visitor Information Centre, the Chamber of Commerce, as well as gift stores, a coffee shop and tour company, providing you information and fuel as you continue your journey along the Sea-to-Sky Highway.

Whistler Village

You have undoubtedly seen pictures of Whistler, but now is your chance to live the experience firsthand. Tucked into the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Whistler is a world-class resort that will entertain you all year long. If the stunning natural beauty of Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains isn't enough to impress you, you are sure to be stopped in your tracks in charming Whistler Village, the heart of the town where only pedestrians are permitted. The streets in the village are lined with art galleries and shops, and restaurants for every culinary palette. In the winter you will be strolling among the throngs of international travellers coming for the world-class alpine skiing, and in the summer you will be rubbing shoulders with some of the best downhill mountain bikers in the world. With its laidback westcoast vibe and endless activities, Whistler is a town of unforgettable nature.
