Canada Place

Home of our Welcome Centre, the award winning Vancouver Convention Centre is a marvel in sustainable architecture. Consisting of the East Building located within Canada Place, and the West Building immediately adjacent, the centre opened its doors originally in 1989 and was expanded in 2002. The West Building is LEED Platinum certified, and the 24,000 square-metre (6-acres) living roof is irrigated with the building’s waste water.

Inside, the Vancouver Convention Centre offers an impressive 43,340 square-metres (466,500 square feet) of meeting space, all conveniently located in the heart of downtown.
